How It Works:*
The Mixed Media Automatic Filter works by breaking down iron particles and dissipating hydrogen sulfide gas from the inlet water source.
The System traps the iron and other particles in the media bed. During the backwash cycle, the water flow through the bed is reversed causing the trapped particles to be dispersed to the drain.
The Mixed Media Automatic Filter will also adjust up or down the PH levels in the inlet water. (Recommended inlet PH level for these units is between 5.3 and 8.0)
*Inlet water should be free of all bacteria, turbidity, tannin, and gases before treatment
